We are excited to chat with Larry Spagnolo, former President of Zedi, and now Emerson Industrial Software's VP and GM of the SaaS Scada business unit, about the company's remarkable journey that led to a very successful exit strategy.
The business was acquired by Emerson in 2019. Through Zedi's cloud supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) platform, Emerson is able to help oil and gas producers increase production and lower operating costs through cloud-based monitoring, control and optimization. Emerson recognized Zedi's digital solution as a valuable asset in transforming operations and boosting team efficiency for their customers.

Larry Spagnolo was the former President of Zedi Inc. where he led a team of strategic executives providing oversight over five lines of businesses. Before 2017, he served as Chief Commercial Officer & President Zedi US. In his first 9 years of leadership Larry presided over the doubling of the company and the expansion and integration of our US technology and services operations. Prior to Zedi, he held several leadership and executive positions at TELUS.
His extensive experience and professional background include technology, marketing, business development, and general management. He graduated from NAIT School of Business and Grant MacEwan University as well as completing executive education programs at INSEAD and Rotman School of Management in the University of Toronto.
