Calgary, AB, July 2026 – InterGen's annual Bootstrap or Burn Rate Stampede Party returned this year bigger than ever, bringing together Alberta's founders, investors, business leaders, and ecosystem partners for an afternoon of celebration and connection.
The incredible turnout reflected the strength and momentum of Alberta's innovation ecosystem and the community committed to helping it grow. More than a Stampede gathering, Bootstrap or Burn Rate has become a place where meaningful relationships are built. Founders connected with investors, experienced operators shared insights, and new opportunities emerged through conversations that will continue long after Stampede.
One of the afternoon's highlights was recognizing the collective impact of the investment community in attendance. Together, attendees represented an estimated more than $500 million invested into Alberta scale-up companies over the past three years—a testament to the capital and expertise fueling innovation across the province.
