Marjorie Zingle is a lifelong entrepreneur whose career is defined by innovation, resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning. As Founder and CEO of DataHive, she entered the technology sector later in life and went on to build a trusted Calgary-based data centre known for secure, reliable IT infrastructure and 100% uptime.

Since establishing DataHive in 2004, Marjorie has helped position the company as a cornerstone of secure data solutions. More recently, DataHive has strategically evolved in response to emerging demand for global optical fibre connectivity, proactive cybersecurity, and archival media storage solutions.

Her path into tech was anything but traditional. Drawing on years of business experience and an entrepreneurial mindset, Marjorie embraced a complex, fast-evolving industry with curiosity and determination, surrounding herself with strong technical expertise and leading with confidence.

A recipient of the Top 7 Over 70™ Award in 2017, Marjorie continues to challenge assumptions about age and leadership. Now in her 90s and exploring new ventures, she remains driven by the belief that it’s never too late to start again.
