Brydon Gierl has been working in the liquid cooling field for 24 years. Prior to Co-founding CoolIT Systems Inc. he worked in various capacities in construction and fabrication industries learning valuable lessons as a first-time business owner operator. Brydon spends his time at CoolIT in R&D and Product Development where his creative talents and problem-solving skills are best exploited, and a work ethic born on the family farm serves the company well.
Dean is currently Chair of the Board of Directors at Platform Calgary. Known as an independent businessman and currently the portfolio manager for Priviti Capital Corp. He also holds board positions on several private companies including CoolIT Systems, Chair of the Board for Jowidana Hotels Ltd., Director,Chatter Creek Mountain Lodges Ltd., and Castle Mountain Resort.
Dean is active in Calgary’s not-for-profit sector, serving as a Director of The Palix Foundation, a Director of the Calgary Stampede Foundation, a member of the Investment Committee for the Max Bell Foundation and Chair and Director of The Calgary Arts Foundation. He was previously President and sole Owner of UTA Asset Management, a registered Portfolio Manager who acted as Sub-advisor for Dynamic Mutual Funds. UTA was responsible for the investment decisions with respect to Oil and Gas investments for several Dynamic portfolios. Dean also spent four years as President and Portfolio Manager of Dominion Equity Resource Fund and Managing Director of Canfund VE Management Corp.
