Job Title: Marketing Manager | 1-Year Contract, Coverage for Maternity Leave

Position Overview:

As the Marketing Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind all marketing initiatives, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that increase awareness, engagement, and support for InterGen’s mission. This role is ideal for a versatile and hands-on marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle a wide range of tasks, from digital marketing and content creation to event planning and community outreach – ensuring every effort aligns with our bold goals and core values.

Event Promotion
- Create and implement marketing plans to boost attendance and engagement for both online and in-person events, including but not limited to webinars, workshops, and fundraising initiatives
- Develop event marketing materials and promote events across digital platforms and through partnerships and email marketing
Content Creation & Management
- Plan and execute content distribution strategies across multiple channels, including email, social media, and our website to maximize reach and engagement
- Produce high-quality content for various platforms including blog posts, articles, social media content and case studies that highlight InterGen’s work and value offering
- Creation of marketing materials, including but not limited to banners, presentations, infographics, reports, and videos
Product Marketing
- Work closely with the Product Manager and Developers to conceptualize new product features that align with user and market needs
- Develop go-to-market strategies that drive enablement and adoption of the InterGen Connect app. Collaborate with the team to reinforce a compelling narrative and value proposition for the InterGen Connect app, utilizing targeted email marketing and automated messaging
- Design and manage automation campaigns to support each stage of the user journey including automated emails, trigger-based communications, nurture sequences, and ad-hoc announcements
Social Media Management
- Plan, execute, and manage our social media presence across all relevant platforms (LinkedIn, X, Youtube etc.). Respond to community engagement and analyze social media metrics
- Launch and manage digital advertising campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn ads) to drive traffic and engagement
Reporting and Analysis
- Monitor, track, and report on the performance of all marketing initiatives, using data-driven analysis to optimize strategies and enhance future campaigns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in strategic marketing, digital marketing, brand management and related areas, preferably in the tech ecosystem, startups and not-for-profit sector
- Solid project management skills with the proven ability to manage multiple projects independently, prioritizing tasks effectively
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills, with a talent for translating complex ideas into engaging content
- Detail-oriented, a proactive problem-solver with a creative mindset and can-do attitude. Able to transition smoothly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, email marketing software), with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; HubSpot experience is a big asset.
